Crash Dummy Header

Twelve Games developed Cid the Crash Dummy back in 2008, and now Immanitas Entertainment has brought the character to mobile devices under the title Crash Dummy.

A casual platformer, Crash Dummy was originally going to come out on the iOS in November, but Immanitas decided to postpone its iOS debut so that it could come out at the same time as the Android version.  Both versions are finished now, though only the iOS version is currently in the market.

This app follows the story of Cid, a bored crash dummy, who decides that his life needs more excitement and he’s going to get it when Professor Advisor’s daughter is kidnapped by his arch-nemesis D-Troit.  Play as Cid as he tries to rescue M.I.A through 16 levels, including 6 bosses.

Crash Dummy looks like it’s gearing up to be a fun game complete with puns, video sequences, various weapons and abilities, puzzles/obstacles, and 25 different types of enemies.  You can view the beginning of Cid’s story on Youtube.

Crash Dummy will be available in Amazon Market and is already buyable in the App Store.  If you’re not sure whether or not to pay $2.99 right away, there’s a Lite version too.  For more information about it, visit its Facebook page or follow Immanitas Entertainment on Facebook.
