How it works:

  • Developers contact us requesting for a giveaway / We contact developers requesting for a giveaway.
  • Developer provides promocodes, which is redeemed to obtain the app. (Are you a developer? If you want to request a giveaway, please contact us at mobile[at]indiegamemag.com!)
  • We take the promocodes and give it to active followers on Twitter.
  • Active followers who receive the codes get free apps!

Why?

There’s no such thing as a free lunch, so how can this be true? The main reason we’re giving away these promocodes is to attract an actual fanbase who wants free apps. At the same time, this benefits developers because they get the publicity they need to create hype about their game (which may or may not be already released. It’s one of those really rare “win-win” situations!

You will be contacted ASAP, usually within 24 – 48 hours after the giveaway ends.

  • I just saw this giveaway, but it’s already 5 minutes after the contest ends, can I still enter?

Truly sorry, due to the rules of this contest, there cannot be exceptions. We have giveaways regularly, so bookmark this page and check often!

  • The promocode has already been used or has expired! What do I do?

We’re really sorry about this, but this is something we cannot control. Either the developer has already updated their app (which causes the promocode to expire) or they gave use a faulty code. If you email us, we can hook you up with another promocode if there is one available. Sorry for the inconvenience!
