Since its release, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP has been universally loved and praised by players and critics alike. While the US has been able to enjoy the humorous, beautifully designed and even more beautifully composed package delivered in the game for over a year, those in the UK were only let in on the fun months ago. What’s more, Japan had been left out of the action altogether, but now Superbrothers and Capybara Entertainment have announced that they will be preparing the famous title for release in Japan on iOS as well as PC and Mac! With assistance from 8-4 Ltd, the studios are currently working through the localization process for the title across all three platforms, slating a June 21st release date for all three this year.

On the back of this great news, more awesome things were announced for release on June 21st. A remix album featuring seven tracks by Jim Guthrie is marked for release as well. The album, which will be available online for 5 dollars, will feature notable japanese composers such as Michiru Yamane (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night), Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill), Baiyon (PixelJunk 4am), Mitsuto Suzuki (Final Fantasy XIII-2), chiptune artist Macotom3, and superhero Decasségui Hip.

From the time he picked up writing as a hobby in the fifth grade, the gaming industry has always been Jake's topic of choice. Whether it was a piece about the "correct" way to hold a Gamecube controller or the excitement of Microsoft entering the console wars, when an idea queues up, it flies from his fingers onto the page. The immense level of availability the indie market has created for gamers everywhere is fantastic, and has become his favorite subject to write on.
