Terms
Here are the guidelines that we uphold as IGM Mobile writers:
“I, hereby, declare that I will never allow any change in the judgement of app reviews due to money, pressure, promotions and any sort of bribery. All information and statistics I will report will be completely accurate, but in the rare event that it is incorrect or outdated, I will fix the problem as s00n as possible. I will never write an article first before other regular article due to an extra payment for expedited writing. I will not be swayed by promotional content. I strongly believe it is wrong to leave out details or purposely create a vague term. I promise not to post spam content. I will not disclose IGM’s iTunes account or any private information disclosed among the staff to the public. I will not plagiarise from any source, written or verbally and I agree to uphold high standards and comply with IGM Mobile’s guidelines.“

Basically, you retain the rights to any free content you submit to Indie Game Magazine and grant IGM permission to feature that content on its website and/or in print. Don’t spam and don’t post copyrighted material. We like when you submit pictures and accept anything about video games and gaming, but obviously we focus on the indie stuff. Legal jargon follows.
This Agreement was last revised on March 29, 2011.
Welcome to IndieGameMag.com, the website and online service of the Indie Game Magazine (“Indie Game Mag” “IGM” “we,” or “us”). This page explains the terms by which you may use our web site, web widgets, feeds, mobile device software applications, applications for third-party websites and services, and any other mobile or web services or applications owned, controlled, or offered by IGM (collectively the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”), whether or not you are a registered user of our site.
IGM provides a place for the indie game community and press to create content, publicize their work, and submit content to the Indie Game Magazine. We offer indies and readers a chance to voice their opinion, show off their work, and sell their games. IGM hosts all the content, backs it up on a regular basis, picks up the bills, and maintains the site.
We’re trying to foster the indie gaming community, so in participating you’re helping us do that, and we love you for it. Unless, of course, you’re a Jerk.
