Treemaker

Mikrotie have released a big update for their unique platformer, Treemaker, and in doing so have also released the game on to Google Play.

Treemaker was released on to the App Store several months ago now but it has been in need of an update ever since. The game itself tasks you with swinging across the levels and planting trees where ever a yellow seed appears. That’s your main challenge with an extra one being to complete the level with as little swings as you can manage. It’s quirky and features some great artwork, but as you’ll see when we outline the updates in the update, there were some elements that could be improved.

So let’s have a look at what the 1.4 update brings:

  • User interface completely re-designed
  • Character animation is now much smoother
  • Two new levels: an initial tutorial stage and a much more challenging Episode IV
  • Game Center support with leaderboards and new challenges

Mikrotie say that they are working on many more Game Center oriented features for Treemaker too, mainly more challenges and a “multiplayer time challenge mode”. More on that soon.

As said, Treemaker is now available on Google Play as well as the App Store and the Ovi Store.

More information on Treemaker can be found on the developer’s official website.
