Time for an updated look at a promising soon to be released mobile game TurtleStrike, from Czech Republic studio eeGon.
TurtleStrike is a turn based action title that’s all about choosing your attacks wisely (no Hares included … sorry, I just had to say that, I couldn’t help it). Unlike most turn based games however, you’ll be making your strategic moves at the exact same time as your opponent. You’ll then watch your 10 turtle attack squad follow your orders to devastating and humorous results.
A number of features will be included in the final release, including a tiered based matchmaking system so you’ll always play the skill level of your choice, a whole heap of different attacks and weapons to choose from and a number of different social interaction options allowing you to challenge friends over Facebook or Twitter from inside the game.
There’s also the promise of fast and efficient servers with very little lag no matter what system or 3G network you use. That will no doubt come as good news to those players who’s service provider may be lacking in the high speed department.
We’ve got some brand new screenshots of the game in action from its current beta state, which you can check out in the gallery below. Though a release date hasn’t been confirmed as yet, expect TurtleStrike to appear on both iPhone, iPad and Android devices very shortly.
