It’s been awhile since we last heard anything about the iOS release of Unmechanical, but developers Talawa Games has just given us the heads up that they’re looking at a January release window.
Unmechanical is an adventure-puzzle game about an adorable but indifferent robot’s quest to find its way out of the innards of an underground beast. The project was extended to optimize the game further to insure that it would work on older iOS devices like the iPhone 4 and iPod 4th generation. It has no problem running on a PC of course as we reviewed it back in August was pleased with the challenging puzzles, soundtrack, and overall presentation.
In the meantime, Talawa Games will be attending GameX and entering Unmechanical in the BIG Competition in Sao Paolo Brazil where they are nominated for Best Visuals, Best Sound, and the grand prize, Best Game. To keep up with Talawa be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter. If you can’t can’t wait a couple more months you can pick up the Game on Steam for $9.99 or download its 13 track soundtrack.
